Choosing Your Toyota Highlander Hybrid
The Highlander may have a hybrid engine, but it's no weakling. The 3.5-liter V6 combines with an electric motor to produce a healthy 280 horsepower. It's mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
All-wheel drive comes standard on the Highlander Hybrid, as does performance-oriented suspension—MacPherson struts up front, double-wishbone at the rear—disc brakes all around, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
