What you must know before buying the Toyota Sequoia
, Automotive Editor -
  • 2015 Toyota Sequoia is rarely offered with incentives
  • No current APR or cash back offers available
  • Low demand and low dealer stock on this model
  • Lease: $659/mo for 36 months with $5,999 due at signing

Is it a good time to buy a Sequoia?

The rugged Sequoia is one of Toyota’s slowest-selling models and doesn’t generally carry special incentives. Stocked in relatively low numbers, it still has a strong following of the Toyota faithful who buy up each example from year to year.

Dealer stock is good enough that you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding the SUV you want, but not so plentiful that you’ll find door-busting deals. Military members can, however, find an available $500 in customer cash back, and all Toyota models come with 2 free years of scheduled maintenance.

One interesting nugget of information that has come across our desk is that some very limited markets, such as Seattle, will offer discounts of $500 customer cash back this month.

Limited regional lease deals available:

In much of the country, current lease specials on the Sequoia are limited to local offers at the dealer level. However, lessees select markets can currently find an advertised special at a payment of $659 per month for 36 months with $5,999 due at signing. At that rate relative to pricing, we recommend buying outright.
