Priced to sell:

2014 Passats are on sale for thousands below MSRP. Even the new 2015 models are selling for less than MSRP in most areas, though discounts on these are significantly less. The best of these savings are on TDI models. The recent sales slump means dealers are motivated, so bring your negotiation skills with you to the dealership. Note that SEL Premium models are fairly rare and can command higher prices as a result.

Low financing rates:

Volkswagen Credit is offering financing as low as 0% APR for 60 months on 2014 models, or as low as 0.9% APR for 60 months on 2015 models. No down payment is required with approved credit through Volkswagen Credit. Volkswagen also offers special programs that make it easier for first-time buyers and new college graduates to qualify.

Sign and drive:

Lease specials are currently being offered on 2014 and 2015 Passat 1.8T S models with automatic transmission, as well as the 2014 Passat TDI SE with sunroof and automatic transmission and the 2015 Passat TDI SE with manual transmission. The associated payment amounts are higher than previous months' offers, but this month's promotional leases come with special bonuses, including $0 down payment, $0 due at signing, $0 security deposit required, and $0 due for the first month's payment.

Drive it home today:

You should encounter a good mix of 2014 and 2015 models in stock. The general exceptions are SEL Premium models and 2014 2.5 models.
