The stylish member of Audi's compact line, the A5 mixes sport and luxury in an eye-pleasing coupe body. While it's not as spacious as the related A4 sedan, the coupe retains some practical benefits like fine efficiency and a usable trunk.

Choosing Your Audi A5
Available as a four-passenger coupe or soft-top convertible, the A5 carries a 2-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 220 horsepower. The coupe comes standard with all-wheel drive and your choice of a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The convertible starts out with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The optional all-wheel drive system comes only with the eight-speed automatic.

We consider the Sport package to be the worhiest add-on. It provides sports car-like handling with hardly any loss in ride comfort.
