CarsDirect Pricing Insider

What you must know before buying the Audi A5
Kimberly Smith, Automotive Editor -
  • Plenty of new 2015 A5 models in stock; 2016s can now be ordered
  • 2015s are priced below MSRP
  • Finance: 1.9% APR for 60 months on 2015 models
  • Loyalty bonus: Up to $1,000 off for returning customers

Drive home a new 2015:

New 2015s are widely available, so you should have little trouble finding one to test drive and take home.

Dealers are also now taking orders for the upcoming 2016 lineup. Prices start at $41,425 for a 2016 2.0T Premium AWD Coupe, compared to $40,925 for the 2015 model.

2015s are on sale:

Most 2015 models are selling for less than MSRP, and with sales as low as they've been, dealers are pretty motivated to move these stocks. Larger discounts tend to be on Cabriolet models, but those also carry higher starting prices. Either way, you can't go wrong given that the A5 is projected to have the highest residual value and lowest cost of ownership in its class.

Low financing rates:

Financing on 2015 models continues to start at 1.9% APR for up to 60 months for well-qualified customers, making this a great time to buy. Audi Financial Services also introduced special financing for 2016 models this month at 2.9% APR for up to 60 months.

Brand loyalty has its rewards:

Current Audi owners are eligible for a bonus incentive of $500 to put toward a new 2015 or 2016 A5, or $1,000 when the new vehicle is financed or leased through Audi Financial Services. No trade-in is required.

Note: These offers are available in Southern California, but may vary where you live. Check your local incentives with a Trusted CarsDirect Dealer »
