What you must know before buying the Hyundai Genesis Sedan
, Automotive Editor -
  • The redesigned 2015s are here
  • Plenty of 2014s left
  • Even 2013s are still around
  • Different incentives for 2015s and 2014s

Genesis reborn for 2015:

Hyundai totally redesigned its full-size Genesis for the 2015 model year. The new sedan's MSRPs - in V6 and V8 forms - are significantly higher than those of the outgoing 2014 car.

Don't forget about the 2014 model:

There are still a lot of 2014s on dealer lots, though. Sales staffs should be motivated to sell them since the vehicles have the old body style. We've seen discounts on 2014 models as high as $8,100. Just be prepared to look a while for a rare 5.0-liter eight-cylinder specimen.

Just remember which incentive goes with which model year:

For 2015 cars, Hyundai is offering $1,000 in loyalty bonus money and 36-month lease deals ($429 per month).

You can receive $2,500 in Retail Bonus Cash for buying a 2014 Genesis. You can also finance one at 2.9 percent APR for up to 60 months. If you want to lease one of the fancy four-doors, you'll have to pay $349 a month for 36 months.
