Take the sensibilities of a Toyota Camry and marry it with the technology pioneered in the Toyota Prius and you have the Toyota Camry Hybrid -- possibly the most pragmatic car in the world.
What's New for 2015
For 2015, the Camry Hybrid gets almost all of the re-engineering received by the conventional Camry. That starts with a particularly striking new front clip and a wider track to give the car a somewhat aggressive profile, something you never would've said about a Camry Hybrid before. Also new is an SE version of the Camry Hybrid, which adds the sporty look of the gas-powered SE to this more efficient model sitting between the base LE and top-trim XLE. The Camry LE also gets new standard features in the form of a power driver's seat and color display in the instrument panel.
Choosing your Toyota Camry Hybrid
All Camry Hybrids are motivated by the same four-cylinder engine and electric motor that put out a combined 200 horsepower and get up to 43 mpg city and 39 mpg highway. A CVT sending power to the front wheels is the only drivetrain configuration. LE models are comprehensively equipped, but you need to step up to SE and XLE to get the higher levels of technology and convenience features.
