2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Changes
There are welcome price cuts on the mechanically unchanged Giulia range for 2024, with Ti trim almost $2,000 cheaper than it was in 2023. The Lusso and Estrema models have been dropped, while a new Competizione trim debuts alongside a 100th Anniversary Quadrifoglio limited edition that becomes the new flagship model.
Choosing Your 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia
There are six Giulia trims in total, four of which can be specified with AWD for a $2,000 premium. Prices for the Giulia start at $44,075 for a RWD Sprint, with mid-range Competizione models starting at $53,345 when ordered with the cheapest metallic paint option – there are no free paint colors beyond this point in the range.
The high-performance Quadrifoglio and its 100th Anniversary sibling are RWD-only and will set you back $81,855 and $87,415 respectively. Be careful with the color scheme you choose – Verde Green tri-color paint is a $2,200 upgrade.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Engine Options
The 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia engine range starts with a two-liter turbocharged gas engine producing 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque, supplied to either the rear or all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance is enhanced in the Quadrifoglio models by a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6, producing 505 hp and 443 lb-ft. It uses the same transmission as lesser models.
Engine Type | Horsepower | Torque |
2.0 turbo | 280 hp | 306 lb-ft |
2.9 V6 | 505 hp | 443 lb-ft |
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Fuel Economy
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia fuel economy stands at an EPA-estimated 24 miles per gallon city, 33 mpg highway, and 27 combined in two-liter RWD models, dropping to 23/31/26 in AWD guise. Gas mileage falls further in the 2.9 versions – 2024 data has yet to be released, but the 2023 Quadrifoglio recorded a disappointing 17/25/20 mpg.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Towing Capacity
You wouldn’t normally buy an Alfa Romeo as a tow car, and towing capacity for the 2024 Giulia has yet to be released.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Dimensions & Cargo Capacity
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia dimensions include an overall length of 182 inches, width of 73 inches (not including mirrors), and height of between 56 and 57 inches. Rear legroom is just over 35 inches, with seating for five.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia cargo space stands at 13.4 cu ft, which beats the figures in many similarly sized sedans.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Safety
Every Giulia is equipped with eight airbags, adaptive cruise control, torque control and parking sensors at both ends of the vehicle, plus automatic wipers and a full suite of LED lighting.
Driver aids include blind-spot and cross-path detection, lane departure warning, forward collision warnings and hill-start assistance. Quadrifoglio models are unique in offering a rear-center three-point seatbelt.
If you want features like driver attention monitoring, traffic sign information/recognition or lane keep assistance, you’ll have to pay $700 to add a standalone package on all trims bar Sprint. It’s disappointing that these features can’t be added to the cheapest Giulia.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Technology
The standard infotainment setup on Giulia models is an 8.8-inch color touchscreen display and integrated navigation. An eight-speaker audio system is fitted, while a 12.3-inch color instrument display replaces traditional dials.
Competizione models receive a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system as standard, and this setup (along with additional leather cabin trim) is a pricey upgrade on Ti and Veloce models.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Trims & Prices
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint – MSRP from $44,075

Step inside and there’s eight-way power adjustment for the driver and four-way power for the front passenger, alongside heating and power lumbar; the rear seats are also heated. Dual-zone climate joins a heated steering wheel on the standard equipment list, alongside a perforated leather shift knob and wireless charging pad.
There are no packages on this model.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti – MSRP from $46,115
Build & Price >Bigger 18-inch wheels and gloss black exterior detailing distinguish Ti models, while the big news internally is the fitment of a dual-pane sunroof. Aluminum sports pedals are also standard.
It’s possible to upgrade the sound system to a 14-speaker Harman Kardon setup for $2,225, with the added benefit of leather trim across the dash and upper doors.
The $700 Active Assist Plus pack is far more cost-effective, combining active blind-spot and driving assistance with driver attention alert monitors, traffic sign information and recognition, and lane-keep assistance.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce – MSRP from $49,715
Build & Price >Veloce models are aimed at keen drivers, which is why the front seats receive power-adjustable bolsters and manual thigh support adjustment. Larger 19-inch wheels are fitted, a limited-slip differential helps to rein in the engine’s power, and a rear diffuser aids downforce.
Both Ti packages are identically priced on Veloce models.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Competizione – MSRP from $53,345
Build & Price >A key upgrade on Competizione models is the 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, while the leather sports seats receive red stitching to match the red-painted brake calipers.
Only the Active Assist Plus package remains available, as it does on both Quadrifoglio models.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio – MSRP from $81,855
Build & Price >Most of the Quadrifoglio’s price premium is accounted for by its uprated engine, though other significant upgrades over two-liter models include four-wheel Brembo brakes, a quad exhaust system, and a mechanical limited-slip diff. It also has a carbon fiber hood and rear spoiler.
2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversary – MSRP from $87,415
Build & Price >Aesthetic upgrades on 100th Anniversary models include gold-painted brake calipers and Alcantara seats with gold stitching, while carbon fiber recurs everywhere from the grille to the external mirrors.
Assuming you’re not desperate for the Quadrifoglio’s uprated power, a Ti model with the optional Active Assist safety package represents the best value in the Giulia range.
