Acura's flagship luxury sedan gets a makeover for 2009. The 2009 RL is the recipient of a larger, more powerful 3.7-liter 300 horsepower V6 mated to a standard all-wheel-drive system. The exterior has been updated with fresh fascias while the interior gets a new trim and accents, with a tad bit more room for back seat passengers. Acura’s best-selling sedan, the 2009 Acura TL will undoubtedly get the most attention since has been completely redesigned for 2009. The some-frills base models gets a 3.5 liter V6 with front-wheel-drive, while top-of-the-line SH-AWD model features a Acura’s most powerful engine ever produced, a 305 horsepower 3.7 liter V6 and all-wheel-drive. The TL also receives a beautiful interior redesign complete with real-time traffic and weather radar for up-to-the-minute updates on the driving environment. The 2009 TSX, also new for 2009 is slightly larger than the 2008 model TSX, and utilizes the same 2.4-liter 4-cylinder i-VTEC powerplant which produces a solid 201 horsepower while achieving 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

Like its parent, Honda, Acura steers clear of cash back and rebates in order to keep resale values high. However, you should expect to see lease deals and low APR rates when the manufacturer wants to sell slow-moving vehicles or during seasonal clearances.
