Fitting speakers inside your car is all about where you place the car stereo subwoofer. Subwoofers are essential for good listening and good bass. Setting car speakers around your vehicle can depend on the shape of the interior and where it is best to place them for maximum results.
Tip 1 – Placing the Subwoofers
There are some schools of thought who say that you should always place your subwoofers as near to the place you sit as you can. In the case of a car interior it would make sense that you place them under your seat and facing out, or somewhere under the dashboard facing toward you.
Tip 2 – Bass
It is not always necessary to place car subs under your seat. You can put it at the back of the car too, but because it gives a deep beat, you need to make sure you can feel it properly.
Tip 3 – Dynamat
You can install Dynamat sheets around your car to dampen sounds. Dynamat uses visco-elastic to increase vibration acoustics. In other words it stops noise from making a noise. You will need between ¼ and ½ half of the car interior to be covered by the Dynamat in order to make a difference. At the same time it eliminates interior noise, it also helps to eradicate external noises from the road too.
Tip 4 – Set Up
It always pays to follow your current set up unless you are changing the entire speaker system in your vehicle. If you follow the set up you already have, you will have a better template from which to work.
Tip 5 – Quality over Quantity
Always get good quality subwoofers for your vehicle. If good sound means anything to you, quality will always reign over quantity or price. Buy Brand products that you know sound excellent.
