The 2009 Aston Martin Rapide is based on Aston Martin's unique VH (Vertical/Horizontal) architecture and combines the company's commitment to power, beauty and soul. The 2009 Rapide has the same basic design elements as the concepts, and uses slightly less costly materials for the body panels and interior materials. Power comes from the DB9's 5.9-liter V12 which produces upwards of 450 horsepower.
