Typically the best time to consider a 6-month-long car lease is when you find yourself in a situation that is most likely temporary. School, traveling or living out of town for work, a temporary financial situation, a temporary job, military deployment, or other special considerations are the best times to consider a 6-month-long car lease.

Some people may sign a 6-month lease for a car with the intention of buying it, but they first want to make sure that the vehicle is exactly what they are looking for. 6-month leases may be ideal for you, or not. It is important to remember they work differently than longer leases, but if you find yourself in a temporary situation it may be something you should look into.
