For a second year in a row, car companies have decided to invest heavily in Superbowl commercials. With the auto industry recovery in full swing, auto makers such as Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, GM, and Volkswagen are all looking to make a splash with viewers. And at $3.5 million for a 30-second spot, it's a good bet that they'll do everything they can to get their money's worth.

This year's game, which is scheduled for Sunday, February 5, 2012 and is being held at  Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, will be televised nationally by NBC. It is also the first Superbowl to be streamed online, via NBC.com and Verizon Wireless's NFL Mobile app.

Continuing the recent trend of releasing their Superbowl commercials beforehand, most of the car manufacturers ads are already available to check out. Here are some of the best we've seen so far:
