Finding a Dub Car Show in Your Area

May 10, 2010

If you are looking for some great cars to check out, you may want to find a dub car show in your area. If you live in a small town, this may seem like a difficult task. Nevertheless, there are tours that happen all over the country, so dub cars may not be that far out of reach. Here are some tips to help you see the dub model cars when they drive your way.

1. Join the Club

There is a dub car club out there that you can join. As a member, you can get constant updates on dub events and see what new cars they are coming out with. Along with this, you may catch an update on a new car show coming your way. The dub car club may give you first hand access to tour information, including what dub show car models you might be seeing and what the costs for the event will be. This allows you to plan in advance for the show.

2. Check the Website

Beyond the dub car club, there is always the dub website. There you will be able to find a lot of the same sort of information, even if it is not quite as detailed. You can check out the pictures, see tour information, get your tickets, and book a hotel if need be. This is a convenient place to go even if you are in the club, because you can buy your tickets right away. This may save you just enough time to snag the last ones.

3. Get the Magazine

There is also a dub magazine that posts full blown articles about the cars, drivers, and events. You can see information from other tour dates and check out a summary of one you may have already missed in your area. If you want to experience a show without actually attending one, this will be the best route to take. Even still, you should be able to get a schedule within the magazine that will inform you of where to be.

4. Ask Local Car Enthusiasts

If you have a shop in your area that is known for souping up cars, the employees may be up to date on dub events. You can always give them a shout to see what they may know, or if they have access to any information you cannot obtain.

5. Listen to the News

If a big event like a dub show is coming your way, you can expect to hear or see some advertising about it. Keep an eye out in your newspaper, and also try to watch the news from time to time. There may not be a huge story about the show, but something may come up. If you live in a small area, you can check the papers of a bigger city nearby that may be more informed about dub cars.
