Just like 2012, Buick returns in 2013 with four base models: the Verano, Regal, LaCrosse, and Enclave. In addition, Buick offers a new SUV to drivers in 2013, the Buick Encore. All 2013 models showcase Buick’s choice to specialize in sedans and crossover SUVs. This choice is definitely geared towards attracting a younger class of buyer, and distancing Buick from its age-old reputation as a manufacturer aimed at retirees.
The result is a line of cars which are more elegant, but with a touch of European flair. The Buick’s of today feature dynamic handling, quality power supplies, modern styling, and a drive which is much more appealing than most would expect. Unfortunately, Buick must fight its reputation. But because today’s Buicks are more stylish than many of their competitors and offer as many luxury options and choices as any other auto manufacturer on the market today, they've certainly got a fighting chance.
While Buick’s line of vehicles may be limited, they remain reliable, affordable, and classy. Combined with their recent push to appeal to younger buyers, Buick remains a force to be reckoned with in the automotive industry.
