OVERVIEW
The front-wheel drive Lucerne is offered in four trim levels: CX, CXL, CXL Premium and Super. The CX and CXL variants are equipped with a 227-hp 3.9-liter V6 engine, while the Super gets a more powerful 292-hp 4.6-liter Northstar V8; both engines are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The CX is outfitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning and satellite radio; CXL trims add dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated front seats, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a heated steering wheel. The CXL Premium and Super trims are further equipped with chrome wheels (18-inch on Super) and upgraded audio, while the Super also boasts an adaptive sport-tuned suspension with Magnetic Ride Control, power sunroof, ventilated front seats and suede/leather upholstery. Safety features found on every Lucerne include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, Stabilitrak electronic stability control with brake assist, front side-impact airbags, overhead curtain airbags for front and rear passengers, a tire pressure monitoring system and OnStar service. Additional standard safety enhancements on CXL Premium and Super trims include Ultrasonic rear parking assist, as well as Lane Departure Warning and Side Blind Zone Alert systems.

For 2011, the Buick Lucerne carries over with minimal adjustments to standard and optional equipment. Electronic stability control is now standard on all trim levels, along with a new USB port.
