Though Apple's iPad Mini hit the market just a few days ago, at least one aftermarket tech specialist has already created a pretty clean in-car installation. The dash of this 2012 Toyota Corolla now sports Apple's latest tablet, with its new smaller 7.9-inch screen. Removing the car's radio then crafting a custom mount using the Corolla's standardized DIN slot, Soundwaves of Tampa opens up full internet access and the iTunes Store's countless driver-aiding navigation and infotainment apps.
The Florida-based company says it can install the iPad Mini in most modern cars for around $800, plus the cost of the device.
