Cadillac's Glide-Up Touchscreen Navigation System cleverly slides into the dash when not in use for a clean look, leaving a small exposed touchscreen portion used to control the excellent Bose audio systems that are standard on all models. All Cadillacs feature GM's OnStar emergency telematics system, with the subscription-based Directions & Connections package for those who prefer turn-by-turn navigation and other assistance from a real person. GM is hard at work on a complete infotainment overhaul to catch up with luxury competitors, with the new CUE (Cadillac User Experience) system to debut on several 2013 models.
