The slowest sedan on this list hits 174-mph. But what's the fastest?

Sleek, svelte supercars seem to be all the rage, but there’s something delightfully devilish about a family-friendly four-door capable of racecar rivaling speed. With Dodge’s new-for-2015 Charger SRT Hellcat now taking the crown for the world’s fastest four-door, we take a look at the Top 10 fastest production sedans, with info on horsepower, 0-60 times, top speeds and pricing.

With entries hailing from the U.S., the U.K. and Germany, any of these sleeper sedans will outpace most of the fastest coupes on the market once speeds reach the triple-digit range, a testament to the sheer horsepower that they produce.

Dodge Charger

The just-announced Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat uses an insane supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with no less than 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft. of torque. It runs the ¼-mile in 11 seconds flat on street tires, and is expected to start from just $60,000 or so.

Aston Martin Rapide S

The luxurious Aston Martin Rapide S is one of the world’s foremost four-door supercars, its 5.9-liter V12 massaged to no less than 552 horsepower and 465 lb-ft. of torque for the 2015 model year. A change in the final drive ratio this year helps the British dynamo join the short list of just three 200-mph-plus four-doors.

Bentley Flying Spur

Twin turbochargers pair with a 6.0-liter W12 – in essence two V6 engines rolled into one – to propel the ultra-luxurious Bentley Flying Spur W12 all the way to the 200-mph mark. Few if any four-doors on the road feature this blend of outright speed and fine craftsmanship.

Porsche Panamera

As if the “regular” Panamera Turbo wasn’t enough, Porsche adds the even hotter S variant for the 2014 model year, with 570 horsepower and 553 lb-ft. of torque thanks to turbochargers with larger compressors and increased fuel pressure. How does an 11.8-second ¼-mile sound for a supremely comfortable luxury sedan?

BMW M5 Anniversary Edition

Limited to just 300 units worldwide, it’s the most exclusive of all modern BMWs.

2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S-Line 4MATIC

While the S-Class AMG may be more luxurious, the AMG-tuned variant of Mercedes-Benz’s midsize E-Class is just as fast on the Autobahn and actually far quicker to 60 mph. Its twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 outputs 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft. of torque, bringing a ¼-mile dash of just 11.5 seconds.

Jaguar XFR

A supercharged 5.0-liter V8 helps Jaguar’s big cat supercar four-door to reach 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft. of torque, the XFR-S’s menacing exterior featuring all manner of aerodynamic improvements. If you like your old-world British luxury with a huge dose of speed, this is the car for you.
