Cadillac’s history is steeped in the sedan, and today is no different. Their reputation is based on quality, style, and innovation. Cadillac has always been a leader in technology, luxury, and class and the auto maker has never been afraid to take chances with their designs, especially with their latest offerings.
The 2013 line of Cadillac cars features the affordable ATS sedan; the CTS coupe, sedan, and wagon; the CTS-V coupe, sedan, and wagon; the Escalade (and its variations); the SRX; and the XTS. As always, the price for driving luxury isn’t cheap. Prices range from the mid $30,000 to just under $90,000 for a fully loaded Escalade.
Over the years Cadillac has re-designed its vehicles, never fearing change and often inspiring other auto manufacturers to follow suit. These changes have not come without a price. Cadillac has had its share of failures in the past, but more often than not their decisions resulted in higher-quality cars which raised the bar for the competition.
By the late 1990s and early 2000s Cadillac had transformed itself with bold design decisions and high-quality luxury vehicles which set the standard for American luxury. Today is no different, with the Escalade leading the way – being a popular choice for everyone from soccer moms to actors and musicians. In addition, Cadillac has introduced the ATS – a real challenge to the European imports in 2013. The ATS arrives with an affordable price tag and all the styling and performance Cadillac has come to be known for. Like all their vehicles the ATS stands for quality, power, and prestige, and that reputation is unlikely to change anytime soon.
