What's New
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 continues with new color choices only. On the market since 2020, the three-row XT6 slots between the XT4 compact crossover and full-size Escalade SUV in the Cadillac lineup.
Choosing Your Cadillac XT6
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 continues in three trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. Pricing for the XT6 starts at $51,190 including destination and reaches $61,690 for the Sport before options.
Engine Choices
Like last year, the Luxury trim carries a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, while the Premium Luxury and Sport get a more powerful V6. All-wheel drive is standard on the Sport and costs $2,000 on the Luxury and Premium Luxury. Every XT6 uses a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Engine Type | Horsepower | Torque | Fuel Economy (Combined) |
2.0L Turbo 4-Cylinder | 235 hp | 258 lb-ft | 23/22 mpg (FWD/AWD) |
3.6L V6 | 310 hp | 271 lb-ft | 21 mpg |
Passenger and Cargo Capacity
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 is a three-row, midsize crossover with seating for seven. The second-row captain's chairs available on the Premium Luxury and Sport ($600) reduce capacity to six passengers.
Cargo space behind the third row measures a modest 12.6 cubic feet, but folding it opens up 43.1 cubic feet. With both rear rows down, the XT6 can handle 78.7 cubic feet of cargo, a fine showing for this class.
Safety Features
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 starts off with a full load of driver assistance features, including lane-keeping assist, a following distance indicator, automatic high beams, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a vibrating safety alert in the driver seat, and front and rear parking sensors.
Optional on Premium Luxury and Sport, the $2,350 Technology Package adds a rear camera washer, a review camera mirror, an 8-inch driver info display, rear pedestrian alert, an automated parking system, and a head-up display.
Models so equipped can get a Driver Assist Package ($1,300) with radar-enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic belt-tightening, and reverse automatic braking. With both packages in place, buyers can add Cadillac's Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system for $2,500.
Connectivity
The infotainment system for the XT6 Sport includes an 8-inch touchscreen, eight Bose speakers, satellite and HD radio, six USB ports, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upgrading to the Premium Luxury or Sport brings navigation, wireless phone charging, and a 14-speaker Bose system.
2024 Cadillac XT6 Luxury — MSRP From $51,190
The Luxury offers a good deal of equipment for a base trim in this class. Every example gets heated front seats with eight-way driver and six-way passenger power, a panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, tri-zone automatic climate control, remote start, a universal home remote, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Seats are upholstered in a leather-like material Cadillac calls Inteluxe.
2024 Cadillac XT6 Premium Luxury — MSRP From $56,390
The Premium Luxury gets the V6 engine, plus genuine leather upholstery, ventilated front seats with memory, an eight-way power passenger seat, heated second-row seats, wood interior trim, a cabin air purifier, an anti-theft system, and 20-inch wheels.
The $5,000 Platinum Package equips the XT6 with extended semi-aniline leather upholstery, an adaptive sport suspension, a heated steering wheel, a sueded headliner, and premium floor mats. This upgrade is available on models equipped with the Driver Assist and Technology packages.
2024 Cadillac XT6 Sport — MSRP From $61,690
The Sport comes with a performance-tuned AWD system, plus an adaptive sport suspension and Brembo front brakes with red calipers. The exterior receives gloss black roof rails and dark-accented 20-inch wheels.
Other equipment and options are shared with the Premium Luxury. The Platinum Package drops to $3,800 because it contains the interior upgrades only. Exclusive to the Sport, the Black Onyx Package ($4,395) adds gloss black body trim and badging, plus gloss black wheels.
The 2023 Cadillac XT6 in Luxury trim is a lot of luxury crossover for the money — so long as you don't mind the four-cylinder engine and imitation leather seats. The Premium Luxury and Sport provide the Cadillac experience many buyers expect, which makes them worth the extra expense.
