Can I Purchase a GE Automobile Warranty After I Buy the Car?

Third party auto warranties, such as a GE automobile warranty, have become very popular recently. This is especially true when buying used cars. Typically, these warranties will cover much more than the standard new, or certified pre-owned car warranties will cover. However, instead of just taking your car to the dealership for service and picking it up when the work is completed, you're going to have to contact your warranty provider and let them know a service is coming up. Then either you or the service center you choose will need to contact the warranty provider for payment. It's easiest, and usually least expensive to purchase the warranty at time of purchase. Though, you can purchase an auto warranty after you have already purchased your car.
