For the most part, if a passenger traveling with you has a AAA membership, he or she can use their membership to help you call for help if you have keys locked in car. Most AAA mechanics will not even ask if the car belongs to the passenger or to the person without the membership. On the other side of things, using another person's AAA membership card number to acquire discounts on purchases, booking vacations, and other member benefits is against the company's policies. Should this happen, the person who holds the membership could lose their account, unless their information was stolen.
