One of the largest auto insurance companies in the United States is State Farm Insurance, with profits of over $61 billion. They also sell other types of insurance. Next in line is All State Insurance, who also sells life and business insurance. One of the other large car insurance companies is GEICO, which is owned by Berkshire Hathaway Insurance company. They also have other types besides car insurance. Next is Travelers Insurance, which is also listed in the Fortune 500 listings. Following, is Liberty Insurance. This company has been around since 1912 and they also sell home and life insurance. All of the above car insurance companies are operating in the United States.
