There are several good car polishing compound brands on the market that are made especially for black cars and their delicate finish. Try the Turtle Brand that seems to work really well. For example, they have a Color Magic car polish that works really well on black cars. Apart from this, you can also try the 3M Medium rubbing compound with a rotary buffer to get the polish back into your car. Another good product is the CarPlan T-Cut Colour Fast Black Car Polish and the Auto Glym 'Super Resin Polish that work really well on black cars. Be very careful to not rub through the overcoat while polishing though.
