Where to Find Cheap Auto Body Repair Parts

October 23, 2009

Cheap auto body repair parts can be found at junkyards, on Craigslist and at used car parts stores. Cheap auto body repair parts can be used to repair or replace damaged parts on your vehicle due to an accident. It should be noted that when looking for cheap parts as replacements, they should be as good as the original engine manufactured or OEM parts that they are replacing. If not, your cheap parts will be just that, cheap and more than likely result in an additional replacement cost down the road.

Auto Salvage or Junkyards

Auto salvage or junkyards are a good source for inexpensive replacement auto repair parts. In many instances, these replacement parts are in as good if not better than the original parts that were on your vehicle. Using salvaged parts from a junkyard saves money and can provide you with a quality replacement that is not cheap but reliable.

Craigslist

Often times you can cull through the Craigslist postings online for your community to locate inexpensive auto repair replacement parts. A missing bumper, tail light or other part that can be expensive to purchase at an auto parts store can be found online through Craigslist for a fraction of the cost.

Used Car Parts Stores

There are stores that specialize in the sale of used car parts. These stores can provide you with a discounted auto repair replacement part that meets your needs and can be used to repair your vehicle. You can find a listing of a store that is near you online or in a Yellow Pages listing under auto parts stores.
