Accident disclosure might be a factor in the certified pre owned vehicle agreement. Don't assume that it is. Certified pre owned agreements can vary, particularly dealer issued agreements. Some might require any accidents need to be disclosed. Of course, the car might have been involved in an accident the dealer doesn't know about. Some states require certain types of damage be reported, but most of the time if the car was repaired, it doesn't require reporting. So, the original owner might not have reported the accident to the dealer when they traded the vehicle.
