The Chevrolet Camaro 1SS is built on Chevrolet's flagship sports car platform and has great performance and features that make it rank amongst the best sports cars available. The Camaro 1SS comes standard with a 6.2-Liter V8 engine that produces 426 horsepower and gets 16 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway with a cruising range of about 360 miles to the tank. The 1SS also comes with standard 4-piston Brembo brakes and StabilTrak to make sure your vehicle has the braking power and control that it needs.

The Camaro 1SS comes standard with some interior features not commonly found on other vehicles. The 1SS comes standard with power seats, a cd player, a vehicle anti-theft system, a tire pressure monitoring system and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The tire pressure monitoring system will ensure that you always have the perfect amount of air pressure (PSI) in your vehicle's tires so that you never have to worry about losing vehicle performance due to tire deflation. The leather wrapped steering wheel is only found standard on the Camaro LT 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS, making it a great addition to have.

The exterior of the 1SS is perhaps one of the nicest available from Chevrolet with the trim-specific 20-inch sterling silver painted aluminum wheels, a rear spoiler and SS-specific front and rear body-color fascias. The rear spoiler is only made available for those choosing to go with the SS trim, whether it be the 1SS or 2SS, making it a truly unique feature of the SS lineup. Power side mirrors and remote keyless entry top off the feature list and add to the convenience of the 1SS.

Chevrolet's Camaro lineup is well-respected lineup. If you are interested in the faster SS trim, the 1SS should yield the same performance as the 2SS with the only differences dealing with it having less luxury features.
