Chevrolet SSR Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The SSR is a two-seat, rear-wheel drive pick-up truck that is reminiscent of old classic trucks. It has a convertible hard top and is based off of the TrailBlazer platform. 19-inch front and 20-inch rear aluminum rims are wrapped in Goodyear performance tires to add to the SSR's sporty design. It is powered by a 400 hp 6.0-liter LS2 V-8 engine that is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Safety features include four-wheel all-disc antilock brakes and front-/side-impact airbags.
