2008 - 2012 Chrysler Town & Country
Major changes included: The fifth and current generation Town & Country takes into account all the lessons learned from its predecessors. Growing longer and taller, the fifth generation Town & Country not only gained size, but matured into a minivan for a more sophisticated audience. Taking cues from the Chrysler 300 like the large, chrome front grille, the new exterior is plenty stylish. All-wheel drive is dropped for this generation, but electronic stability control now comes standard on all models. Along with the 3.3-liter and 3.8-liter V6s carried over from the previous generation, the Town & Country receives a new 4.0-liter V6 engine making 251 horsepower in the Limited model. The LX model gets the flex fuel-capable, 175-hp 3.3-liter V6, while the Touring models gets the 197-hp 3.8-liter V6. The innovative Stow 'N Go seating system is still offered as well as Sirius satellite radio capability.

2001 - 2007 Chrysler Town & Country
Major changes included: The fourth generation Town & Country saw many improvements. Like its predecessor, this Town & Country featured many industry firsts like the power liftgate, power retractable center console and, starting in 2005, the Stow 'N Go seating system which allows the rear seats to be completely folded into the floor of the vehicle. The 3.3-liter and 3.8-liter V6s from the previous generation were revised and carried over. The 3.3-liter V6 makes 175 horsepower and can be found in the front-wheel drive LX and LXi models, while the 3.8-liter V6 now makes 197 horsepower and can be found in every other model.

1996 - 2000 Chrysler Town & Country
Major changes included: The third generation Town & Country took the minivan to new heights in terms of luxury and convenience as it featured many industry firsts, such as dual sliding doors and Easy Out reconfigurable seating. It was available in four trim levels, including Base, SX, LX and LXi (renamed Limited in later years). All models came equipped with a V6 engine. A Mitsubishi-sourced 3.0-liter V6 was offered in Base models for 1996 but was replaced by a 3.8-liter V6 producing 166 horsepower for 1997. An updated 3.8-liter V6 producing 180 horsepower saw duty in all models except those sold in California from 1998-2000. Models sold in California received a 158-hp 3.3-liter V6 for the entire production run. Permanent all-wheel drive was available on all models except Base starting in 1997.
