You've lost your driver's license from Michigan and you need a new one. You will need to go in to the local Michigan Secretary of State office and fill out the required form (Application for Driver's License Reinstatement), and bring proof of your identity. Acceptable forms of identity are a state issued ID, certified original birth certificate, valid and unexpired passport or military ID. For lost or stolen driver's licenses issued by the state of Michigan, the replacement fee is currently $9. This fee can be paid by cash, check or money order. Some offices may be equipped to take credit or debit cards.
