Major changes included: The first generation Dodge Nitro is a mid-size SUV that features aggressive styling. The Nitro has been offered in many different trim levels over the years, including SE, SXT, SLE and R/T. A 210-hp 3.7-liter V6 can be found in SE, SLE and SXT models, while a 260-hp 4.0-liter V6 can be found in the R/T model. All models had the option of part-time four-wheel drive. Standard features include traction and stability control, side curtain airbags and a tire pressure monitoring system.
