Designed to give buyers open-top motoring in a small and stylish package, the 500c continues Fiat's recent push into the North American market. It will be a challenge, though, in a segment crowded with big personalities like the MINI Convertible and the Smart Fortwo Cabrio.
The Fiat 500c features a 1.4-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine that's good for a modest 101 horsepower and an equally tepid 98 pound-feet of torque. While these figures don't give the 500c standout performance, the little convertible makes up for this deficit by offering an extensive suite of standard equipment with features such as four wheel disc brakes, power locks, rear park assist, premium cloth or leather seating, power windows, keyless entry, Bluetooth, and electronic stability control.
