Since its birth as the Ford Econoline in 1961, the Ford E-150 has been the king of commercial and transport fleets. This long reign will come to a close, however, when an all-new Ford Transit takes its place in 2014, and the E-150 transitions into chassis-only sales.
Currently in its fourth generation, the 2013 Ford E-150 uses a platform that has seen few updates since its introduction in 1992. The large van can be configured for passengers or cargo, and all E-150s use Ford's 4.6 liter Triton V8. Either version can be fitted with modern features such as voice-activated Bluetooth, DVD movie player systems and a number of 110-volt outlets.
