Ford E-250 Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The Ford E-250 comes with a standard 225-hp 4.6-liter Triton V8 with an optional 255-hp 5.4-liter Triton V8. Both engines are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, underbody full-size spare, air conditioning, tilt steering wheel and variable intermittent wipers. The E-250 is available in the regular or in the extended length version with both offering a commercial and a recreational trim. The recreational trim is nicely primed for modifications to suit the buyer's needs. All recreational vans are standard with AdvanceTrac w/Roll Stability Control, this safety feature is optional on commercial vans.
The following model years make up the most recent Ford E-250 generations:
1992 - 2010 Ford E-250
