OVERVIEW

Ford's F-350 full-size class 3 heavy-duty pickup is part of the company's Super Duty line which also includes the F-250 and F-450. The F-350 can tow up to 22,600 lbs. when equipped with the optional dual-rear-wheel setup and the diesel motor. The base XL, mid-level XLT and top-of-the-line Lariat round out the model lineup. The truck comes in 3 cab sizes (regular, SuperCab and Crew Cab) and in 2 bed lengths (8-foot and 6-foot-9-inch). The standard 6.2-liter Triton V8 makes 385 hp and 405 lb-ft. of torque and can run on regular unleaded or E85 ethanol.

2011 brings a new diesel engine to the lineup: a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 making 400 hp and 800 lb-ft. of torque. Both engines are mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The F-350 has 6 airbags, including side curtains for both rows and a passenger airbag deactivation switch. The F-350 starts at $29,435.
