Continuing its tradition of creating vehicles that are "Built Ford Tough," Ford debuted a new full-size van in 2015: the Transit. Not to be confused with Ford's long-runningTransit Connect, the Ford Transit 350 van was created as an alternative to the E-350 cargo van, offering a modern cabin, lighter body frame, and improved fuel economy.
The largest of the Transit's three trim levels, the 350 can carry up to 15 passengers, and is available in three engine options: a 3.7-liter V6, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 or 3.2-liter Powerstroke I-5 diesel. Compared to other traditional full-size vans, the 350 is leagues ahead when it comes to comfort, thanks to its upgraded seats, added tech features, and brighter, roomier interior. Add to these specs its impressive fuel economy and available 487 cubic feet of hauling space, and the Transit 350 is a top choice in the full-size van segment.
