Through the 1900s, GMG trucks became well known and respected for their durability, power, and utilitarian nature. Over the years, GMC has remained a reliable and steady producer of trucks and SUVs, and they haven’t deviated too much from this path. These days the company is probably best known for the Sierra pick-up truck – which is available in a wide variety of options ranging from the half-ton crew cab all the way up to a three ton heavy-duty dual-wheel pickup, and everything in between.
In addition, GMC produces several other popular vehicles, like their popular line of SUVs that includes the Acadia and Yukon. New GMC Yukons are even available in a hybrid version. Buyers have also been extremely happy with the Savanna cargo van and Canyon truck.
Today, GMC trucks mirror many of the standards set in the company’s fledgling years and their sister company – Chevrolet. Throughout the decades, the company has maintained a high standard of power and durability few companies can match.
