The GMC Savana 1500 van carries with it the choice between Passenger and Cargo models. Both come with 195-inch regular length wheelbases. The passenger variant, available in either 1LS or 1LT trim, packs a 310-horsepower 5.3-liter Vortec V8, which powers the rear wheels or all four. Buyers of Savana Cargo vans can also opt for a 4.3-liter Vortec V6 with 195-horsepower driving the rear wheels. A four-speed automatic transmission handles shifting duties for all Savanas.
