One key difference between our new and used car buying services is that we don't sell used cars directly to customers. Rather, we give you the choice of working with a used car dealer in the CarsDirect.com authorized dealer network, or viewing listings of used vehicles for sale in your area and choosing a used car dealer yourself. (Both options aren't available in all regions.)

What does it mean to be a member of the CarsDirect.com authorized car dealer network?

Members of our car dealer network agree to make your vehicle available in a timely manner with all of the appropriate paperwork and documentation, including manufacturer warranty information. Our dealer members are also responsible for helping the customer with any additional needs such as trade-ins and service information. Above all, members of the CarsDirect.com authorized car dealer network are expected to provide exceptional customer service. If you experience otherwise, we encourage you to let us know so we can address the issue.

What information will I find in your used car dealer listings?

The information in our used car listings can vary by dealer, but most listings should have the following vehicle information: price, mileage, color, features and specifications, included options, and vehicle identification number (VIN). Photos are available for many listings, as well. Dealer contact information is always included, and some dealers even provide a link to their entire inventory.

What if I'm still not sure of which trim level I want?

This is the type of situation in which our used car dealer concierge service comes in handy. If you haven't yet narrowed your decision down to the vehicle trim level, a vehicle expert from our authorized car dealer network can help you. He or she will help you find the right used car or truck for you, and walk you through the buying process. Members of our authorized dealer network provide VIP service to CarsDirect customers.
