Honda Accord LX-S
The Honda Accord LX-S is the lowest trim level available for the Accord Coupe. This isn't to say that it's lackluster, however: The 2010 Accord LX-S carries on Honda's well-earned reputation for producing quality vehicles. The least expensive of the 2010 Accord Coupes, the LX-S base model starts at $22,555 for an automatic transmission and $23,355 for manual.
Specifications
The LX-S has a 4-cylinder engine which packs 190 horsepower at 7,000 RPM. Both its manual and automatic transmission options are 5-speed, and the car gets an estimated 25 miles per gallon (21 to 22 city; 35 highway). With a full tank of 18.5 gallons of gas, that means you could get approximately 462.5 miles without stopping for a refill.
Safety and Comfort
The 2010 Accord Coupe LX-S comes with all the standard safety and comfort features: 3-point seatbelts; front, side, and passenger airbags; air conditioning; anti-lock brakes; cruise control; et cetera. These basic features remain constant no matter which trim level of Accord Coupe you are considering.
Luxuries
Higher trim levels offer options which are lacking in the Accord LX-S, such as heated and/or leather-trimmed seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and small trimmings like illuminated power window switches. One significant difference is that the LX-S does not have a moonroof option available, while it is optional on the EX and EX-L and standard on the EX-L V6.
Honda's 2010 Accord Coupe LX-S only has minor changes separating it from the EX, EX-L, and EX-L V6 trim levels. All the standard safety and comfort features are present in the LX-S, meaning that extra features on higher trim levels are mostly purely cosmetic—so it's up to you to decide whether or not small luxuries are worth the extra money.
