Honda Civic Trims
The Honda Civic is one of Honda's most popular cars—small but spacious, affordable and reliable. The first Civics were introduced in 1972 and were only available as coupes, but Honda has since expanded the model line into sedans and hybrid sedans, as well.
Civic Models
Honda's Civic Sedan is the most common type of Civic, but many other models are available. A sleek Civic Coupe is available, as well as the Sedan SI and Coupe SI, which are sportier versions made for improved speed and performance. There is also a Civic Hybrid Sedan, for the more environmentally conscious.
Civic Trims
There are many different trim levels of Civic available. The cheapest trim level is the DX, which carries standard safety features only—no extra comfort or convenience features are included. For air conditioning, you'll need to upgrade to the DX-VP, which carries the same standard safety features as well as most of the comfort and convenience features that are so often taken for granted.
Next come the LX and LX-S. Both are still fairly basic, but have optional comfort and convenience features available. The LX-S is a sportier version of the LX.
Finally, there are the EX, EX-L and EX-L V6. These are the top-of-the-line Civic trims, which can include heated leather seats (standard on the EX-L and EX-L V6), moonroofs, heated mirrors and leather-wrapped steering wheels.
Civics are known for their affordability, versatility and well-known Honda reliability. With many different options and trims available, they're a great choice for anyone looking for a good compact car.
