Available in two-wheel or all-wheel drive, the Santa Fe is powered either by a 175-hp 2.4-liter four cylinder engine, or a 276-hp 3.5-liter V6. Two transmission choices are offered, a six-speed manual, and a six-speed automatic with SHIFTRONIC. Standard safety features include six airbags, anti-lock brakes with brake assist, electronic stability control with traction control, active front head restraints, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Major changes included: The Santa Fe gets more inspiring handling, more power, and optional seating for 7 in its second generation. It is offered in a 2.7 liter V6 GLS trim, as well as 3.3 liter V6 SE and Limited trims. As with the rest of the Hyundai lineup, the Limited trim is appointed with leather seats, while greater comfort is noticeable in all Sata Fe trims.
