From looks to handling, the Infiniti EX is one compact crossover that emphasizes sport over utility. Since its U.S. debut in 2008, the EX has been blessed with ever more powerful V6 engines, and now gets 325 horsepower from its 3.7-liter unit. Acceleration is quite brisk—60 mph comes in a tick under 6 seconds—more like a sport wagon than a crossover. The EX gets its athletic road manner from the G37 sedan on which it is based.
Along with car-like performance, you get a snug interior and less cargo space than rival luxury crossovers, although the tall passenger cabin keeps things from feeling cramped.
