A decade after it debuted as the G35 -- and Infiniti's first serious offering to challenge the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class -- the G37 is in the final edition of its successful tenure as a premium compact sedan.
Infiniti's best-selling model (52,000 units in 2012) has been redesigned only twice, most recently in 2009 when a 3.7-liter V6 replaced the 3.5-liter and the G35 became the G37. The G37x adds all-wheel drive to the five-passenger sedan and boasts a 328-horsepower 3.7-liter engine.
The 2013 G37x sedan is largely unchanged from 2012, and will be replaced by a new design and a new name -- Q50 -- in 2014.
