Isuzu Ascender Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The Ascender comes in either rear- or four-wheel drive. It has a 285 hp 4.2-liter inline-six-cylinder mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It features machined-finish alloy wheels, rack-and-pinion steering, flip-and-tumble feature for rear seats, and dual-zone air conditioning. Standard safety features include a tire pressure monitoring system, daytime running lights, an electronic stability system and anti-lock brakes.
