Jaguar XK Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
Available as a coupe or convertible, the XK packs a new 5.0-litre 385-hp V8 engine. The XKR features a new 500-hp 5.0-litre supercharged V8. An all-new six-speed automatic transmission with console mounted rotary shifter and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters channels all that power to the rear wheels. Standard equipment includes touchscreen navigation, keyless entry with keyless start, a seven-inch video display, Bluetooth, front and rear park assist, and electronic parking brake.

2007 - 2010 Jaguar XK
Major changes included: The second generation XK series is offered as a coupe or convertible in XK and XKR variants. The XK uses a 4.2 liter V8, while the XKR adds a supercharger to increase horsepower up to 420. The XKR adds a sporty touch to the suspension, handling, and interior. A 6-speed automatic transmission comes in both models. | |
