Jeep Liberty Generations

For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."

The following model years make up the most recent Jeep Liberty generations:

2008 - 2010 Jeep Liberty

Major changes included: The Liberty now sports a boxier look in its second generation. It comes in Sport and Limited trims with a standard 3.7 liter V6 engine powering both. 2-wheel drive is also standard, with an option of two available 4wd systems. The limited is accented with chrome grill and body features.
