2007 - 2012 Jeep Patriot

Major changes included: The Jeep Patriot is a compact crossover SUV still in its first generation. Two trim levels were offered over the years, including Sport and Limited. A 158-hp 2.0-liter four cylinder and 172-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder are the only engines offered in the Patriot. Both a 5-speed manual and continuously variable transmission (CVT) are available. Jeep's optional ?Trail Rated? Freedom II 4WD system is one of the Patriot's highlights as it makes it a capable performer off-road and in wet or snowy conditions. The four-wheel drive models also receive front and rear disc brakes. Some safety features standard on all models include anti-lock brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system and side curtain airbags.
