Kia Forte Koup Generations
The Forte Koup is available in front-wheel drive EX or SX trims. The EX is powered by a 156-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission (a six-speed automatic is available). The SX is powered by a 173-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission (a six-speed automatic is available). Standard safety features include; traction control, stability control, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, anti-whiplash front head restraints, overhead curtain airbags and an ignition disable system. The Forte Koup can be equipped with features such as; a power sunroof, power heated mirrors, fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, satellite radio, trip computer and a telescoping leather steering wheel.
2010 - 2012 Kia Forte Koup
Major changes included: The Forte Koup represents Kia?s entry into the North American sport compact market. Based on the Forte sedan, the Forte Koup has two less doors and sports more aggressive styling. The Forte Koup comes in EX and LX trim levels, and is available with either a 156-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or a 173-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. All models come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, but a 5-speed automatic is also offered. Comfortable and supportive sport seats come as standard equipment, as well as Bluetooth connectivity, Sirius satellite radio capability and USB and auxiliary input cables for portable audio devices.
