The Forte Koup is available in front-wheel drive EX or SX trims. The EX is powered by a 156-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission (a six-speed automatic is available). The SX is powered by a 173-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission (a six-speed automatic is available). Standard safety features include; traction control, stability control, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, anti-whiplash front head restraints, overhead curtain airbags and an ignition disable system. The Forte Koup can be equipped with features such as; a power sunroof, power heated mirrors, fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, satellite radio, trip computer and a telescoping leather steering wheel.
